The South Carolina State Library is offering a competitive Travel Grant to attend the Association for Rural & Small Libraries (ARSL) Conference, held September 14-17, 2022 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, for up to six (6) South Carolina public library staff. An application for funding, if accepted, will result in a grant award providing reimbursement to the County Library for qualifying expenditures up to $1,500.
The Association for Rural & Small Libraries (ARSL) is a network of persons throughout the country dedicated to the positive growth and development of libraries. ARSL believes in the value of rural and small libraries and strives to create resources and services that address national, state, and local priorities for libraries situated in rural communities.
This Project is funded by the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and administered by the South Carolina State Library (SCSL).
The application period for the ARSL Travel Grant has closed and recipients have been notified.
