The South Carolina State Library makes physical state publications available for searching through our online catalog, SCLENDS. Born digital and digitized state documents are available online through the digital South Carolina State Documents Depository. Historical and current state document materials include reports, books, pamphlets, maps, newsletters, directories, regulations, and serials.
The South Carolina State Documents Depository Program provides access to publications produced by state agencies and state-supported academic institutions.
The South Carolina Code of Laws 60-2-10 requires that these institutions provide the State Library with 15 copies of publications for dissemination to 11 depository libraries in South Carolina and the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. Items in the Documents Depository Program include print publications and “born digital” documents often originally published on agency websites.
